I was pleased to be featured in the current issue of Design Aglow , a magazine for professional wedding and portrait photographers. It is very satisfying to have your work recognized by your peers and to share page space with some of the most popular contempory artists in the field of portrait photography.
It has been just over a year since I photographed these two children. They are really growing up! Here’s a couple of picks from the mini session.
Finally a break in the rainy weather and the Summer days have returned. This little guy’s mood certainly matched brighter weather. Just as the title says he was like a little ray of sunshine and so happy hanging out in his wagon. It was also a pleasure meeting Mom and Dad too.

As the photographer I work hard to produce artistic portraits for my clients and the end results from any given session can be very rewarding. However it is equally thrilling to hear that both the parents and children who take part in one of my sessions enjoy the experience. I received a message this morning that these kids had a great time yesterday and that made my day!
After a difficult week with postponed sessions due to the weather this photo shoot made up for all that. Two lovely children, one wonderful setting and a golden Summer evening. We all left thinking that Fall is just around the corner.
The sun has set on my family vacation for this Summer. I am back in Massachusetts as of today. For anyone who called or emailed this past week your messages will be answered by Monday.
The time has come around once again to photograph High School Seniors. I love doing these sessions and this was a lovely one to start with. It’s been four years since I last saw this young lady. I didn’t get the chance to catch up with all her news but it was a privilege to take her high school senior photos this evening!
Well the hazy lazy days of Summer are in full swing and my kids keep reminding me that there’s still half the school vacation still to come. With this in mind I wanted to mention that Summer mini sessions are continuing to be offered through the end of August. The portrait below is from my personal mini session in the garden. This little guy had lovely blue eyes with a cute outfit to match. He’s at the point where he enjoys standing and a few images in this gallery (including the family portrait here) will be a great memory of this! It won’t be long before he’s off and running!
Here are two from a session last week. My client is an esthetician and her company is Elana’s Skincare. We are working on a portrait for her upcoming website. She was a natural in front of the camera and it was a pleasure being the photographer!
I do not typically offer standard studio style business headshots as part of my services. However I do book clients who are interested in business portraits with a more casual feel in a natural outdoor or urban setting.
I had such fun working with this family last week. This little girl was rather interested in tasting the surrounding vegetation but we did get quite a few smiles from her. She was all ready for the hot day in her pretty sundress. The white summer dress is a favorite of mine for photographs. The delicate patterns on this one give the classic outfit a very modern feel.
