What a busy session it was yesterday. It was great meeting the two families and we had the most fantastic weather for our session. My title says it all really. It was all about the boys, the brothers and the cousins together! One of the families was visiting from the West Coast. I wish them a great vacation!
Well that’s what I am now telling my clients to keep the kids warm when we are not taking photos. However the youngest girl in this session had such a fabulous fur jacket I just couldn’t resist including it in some of the shots.
These girls were happy, relaxed and so delightful to spend time with. They even made my day by wearing black which is one of my favorite outfit color to photograph.
I am very excited about the photo gallery from this shoot. I think we are going to have some great images.

I had lots of fun with these two siblings this week. We got some smiles whilst exploring the local park!
It was quite a lot cooler than recent sessions but this lovely little girl could still spend some time in her beautiful Summery dress!

I had another really enjoyable session on Thursday evening. This young lady was a joy to photograph, and once again we had the pleasure of a very warm evening. Fall is here in Massachusetts but it feels like mid summer!
As the photographer I am always mindful of unwanted distractions in the background. However I decided to make an exception for the following image. The horse wandered into view just as I took this shot. I happened to like the end result!!
I had lots of fun with these two brothers. They were very happy exploring the fields (the grass made great tickle sticks) and hanging out together!
There’s nothing better than New England in the Fall. One of my sessions last week was at a local apple orchard which was a favorite place for this family. I had a great time with these two sisters and I hope we have some images that help preserve some memories of this special place.
Much as I loved photographing this high school girl for her senior photos I must say I was thrilled to be asked to do another session of her with a very special companion! It is always important to think about how you want to look in your photographs and animals are no exception. Gleaming after his bath this horse was ready for the camera!!
