Another Dress Session

These girls came in to be photographed in flower girl dresses they wore to a recent wedding. I shot some classic portraits and some fun ones too!

Here’s a sequence of portraits from a recent studio session. It was a fun shoot.
The studio has recently invited a number of girls to be photographed in a special dress. This is one such session and the girl came in a special dress given to her by her Grandma.
We have had a great response to our dress session invites. We only have a couple of slots left. If you know a girl with a special dess that would love to come and be our model for a portrait session then please contact us. Don’t leave it too long as the last spaces are sure to get filled!

These sisters were a joy to photograph! I am just going to let the images speak for themselves…….

This lovely toddler was a very busy girl exploring the park. She took some time to stop and pop some bubbles though!

This girl was a big fan of dogs. Seeing the dogs being walked in the park was quite exciting for her. Our mini session was just the right amount of time to capture some special portraits for Mom.
One cute girl with two dresses. Pretty in pink and pretty in peach. Here’s a preview from the studio sesssion.

Here’s a preview from a recent full outdoor session. Families should typically set a side 1-1 1/2 hours for one of these shoots. Obviously the length of time spent capturing the shots very much depends on the moods of the children being photographed. If everyone in front of the camera is happy then the aim is to capture classic portraits and more candid natural images. These kids were very good and we stretched out their session perfectly which made for a great range of images. Here’s a selection of both candid individual and a classic style sibling portrait.

A warm sunny evening and three lovely children…always the perfect combination!

This one was worth the wait. It was too chilly last week to do this shoot. We got the perfect evening this time around and these children were a delight to photograph.
Spring and summer in my backyard does not usually present the best natural light for portraits. We are encircled by many tall trees. This year we also have numerous wildflowers so I had to get out the camera. OK maybe wildflowers is a bit too fancy a word for it. We are overrun by weeds especially dandelions. I think this is the end result of nine years avoiding weedkiller. Oh well I suppose if it green and grows I should be happy!
