It was great doing a session with this young lady today, she had a really fun easy going personality. Wishing her all the best for her start at college this August!
From Yesterday’s Session….
I was delighted to photograph these two siblings yesterday.
They were very concerned that I should photograph their very special kitten. So I thought it only right that one of the images I share should include the new member of the family!
Terrific Trio
Here’s three really great kids from my session this afternoon. I joked they should perhaps stay an extra hour because the early evening light was lovely. They were not amused! I’m looking forward to working these proofs for the family!
Happy Father’s Day
These two children were a joy to photograph. The little guy is a very caring brother to his sister and was very eager to help me during our session. The prints are going to be a suprise for Father’s day. I hope we managed to keep it all secret!!

Sneak Peek from today’s session..
Heading back to my car after wrapping up today’s session I realised I had forgotten to get out bubbles. I’m glad I went back to do the few extra shots.This little boy was quite happy to go back in front of the lens for a little while longer. Bubbles and boys make a great combination!
Location, location, location
I am always on the lookout for good places to take my clients for outdoor photography sessions. I thought I’d share some images from one of my recent location scouting trips. I will always discuss locations with a client before their session and am always open to suggestions from them!

Acton Barn Preschool DVD and Book Project
During the last few months of this past school year I have been working on a photo journal project documenting the wonder and joy of preschool life at Acton Barn Co-operative Preschool. All proceeds from the sale of the DVD/book resulting from this project will go towards securing a permanent home for the school.
I’d like to say thank you to all the Barn families who so far have purchased copies of the DVD slideshow. I hope you enjoyed viewing the DVD as much as I did taking pictures of your wonderful children! Many families also bought book vouchers and I am looking forward to choosing photos for the book over the Summer. Thank you to Pauline and Torri for their hard work promoting this fundraiser at school. Thanks also to Carol and all the teachers for allowing me to spend time in such a nuturing and creative environment!

A session from last week…
Here’s another image from a recent session. To start with, this lovely one year old was not too sure about an unfamiliar lady with a camera but we got lots of smiles in the end. I am currently working on prints for this family. They were great to work with!

Finally the weather co-operated for this recent session. These two wonderful girls were all fun and smiles and were happy to be in front of the lens for a long time.
